In November 1987 HIP opened its doors in Thorntons Arcade Leeds 1 and quickly established itself to be a destination and melting pot for the Leeds creative collective of musicians, art & fashion students, dj's, club promoters and casuals.

Linked to all things cultural with the town, HIP blossomed with Leeds as it grew to be the UK's fastest growing financial cities.

Introducing groundbreaking designers HIP became an institution renowned for quality and its finger on the pulse.

Continuing into it's twentieth year with a small anniversary collection, HIP is still at the forefront of the cutting edge menswear, challenging new ideas and engaging creativity, HIP is regarded as a established opinion leader in the UK fashion retail.
